QUADSAW

The square hole cutter

Teclit’s innovations are diverse, but he is best known for his patented brainwave, the Quadsaw - the first-ever square cutter.

In a pre-Quadsaw world, builders had no way to cut square holes into plasterboard for sockets and switches: they had to spend several minutes drilling four corner holes then sawing the rest out by hand. So far, so tedious.

Enter the Quadsaw

A revolutionary device that:

  • Converted rotary to lateral motion in four straight blades, set in a rectangle

  • Punched a perfect, clean square hole in three seconds

  • Saved electricians many hours of time - and money (a potential 16 million hours annually in the UK alone- or 68 hours per electrician)

Aside from the Quadsaw, Teclit has worked on a myriad of other projects and has several more in the pipeline including, a chainless, cogless bicycle, a one-of-a-kind innovation that uses the latest hydraulic technology and eco-friendly oil to give a seamless riding experience. Read more..
